November 2007
Across the Desk
by Robin Noll
Aye, aye, aye. It’s our 25th Anniversary issue and it’s been crazy. You would think I would have it together and I’m getting closer but here I sit at the printer speeding to finish so they can get his issue printed.
It was great looking back at old pictures and we’ll have plenty of old pictures, old copies of the mag and things to give away at the party at Gullifty’s on Friday. November 9th.
I want to thank X-terra, Drop of Grey, and Asking Andy for taking part in the celebrations and making it an event worth remembering.
I need to send out an apology to Kyx as apparently they had the name way before Kix was even a band. Apparently they were around in the 70’s so apologies go out to them as they did not steal the name from the Kix that appeared on our first cover. I guess we didn’t know about them until they did start advertising. Like they said they do the music because they enjoy it.
Whitey says the best pay being a musician is the applause one receives for a job well done.
Enjoy this issue, as usual there is a ton of information and I must go, and catch up with them for I am their leader. Have a great month. We are Thankful for each and every one of you.
